Our nurse appointments are bookable up to 2 weeks ahead and our nurses offer a wide range of service.
You will be notified by Avon Primary Care Services when your next Smear is due. Women in Avon will routinely be offered a Cervical Smear every 3 years between the ages of 25 and 49 and every 5 years between the ages of 50 and 64, unless a previous result indicates the necessity for an earlier recall. If you decide that you do not wish to have this important check up please contact the surgery to discuss your concerns. If you decide to decline your smear test you will need to sign a disclaimer letter.
